Great points! I also believe that when kids get a more well rounded education or experiences in their schooling they benefit in the long run.
ReplyDeleteKatelynn, I have seen the statistics for students who are involved with music and those who are not, and the contrast is staggering. From personal experience, I can say that being engaged with a music group, choir, band, etc. increases one’s intellectual ability and focus. I look forward to reading your editorial.
