Inner Beauty

Food For Thought” is an effective argument to persuade women to see their bodies as beautiful how they are and not try to make their bodies something that they cant be. It uses pictures to draw emotions, personal stories, and strong words to create a feeling that what we see in the mirror is not what matters most.

  1. This commercial is awesome. "Virtually unrecognizable". I like how the article and video really contrast each other perfectly.

If I ever need to design a magazine, I now know how to do it.

  2. While it is good to have a positive self-image and take care of your body, it is sad to see so many girls just trying too hard and willing to be fake in order to be like the magazine beautiful. Don’t get me wrong, we guys love it how you dress up and flirt with us, but as a guy myself, you all are already beautiful- you don’t have to prove it to us by trying to look like the fake/nip and tucked models.

  3. Please tell me that commercial wasn't real and that it was just a parody because I am seriously speechless and very disturbed. haha. I'm glad you chose this topic!

  4. I freaking love this commercial. It's so true. No one looks like the cover of magazines because it's seriously impossible. What so many girls don't realize is that some of the beautiful women we see of TV or magazines spend hours upon hours a day with personal trainers working out and only eating fruit juice. Real people don't look like that. I love that you chose this topic. I'm secretly jealous of it!

  5. Owen- Thanks for the sweet compliment to all of us girls.
I love that you chose this topic as well, because I've seen so many girls struggle with body image issues all the time, and how it really breaks a person down. I'm so grateful that we do have the Gospel though, that teaches us the beauty and uniqueness of each of our bodies and image.
